Mashup model.
Rob Machado and Dan Mann created the Mashup, this model is a combination of their two most popular designs, the Seaside and the Spiritfire.
They both took the time to combine and adapt their favorite elements from each design, and the result is a surfboard that is fast in weak waves like the Seaside, and also stable in good waves like the Spiritfire.
The Mashup is the perfect growler you won’t want to take out of your car.
Wave type
With DNA from the Seaside and Spitfire, the Mashup is fast in light waves, but also capable in good, strong waves – a true hybrid surfboard for everyday use. Recommended for waves of 1-5ft, with a tendency towards average to poor/flat conditions.
Characteristics
A board shape that gives you the feeling of having plenty of speed and buoyancy. The hybrid nose provides plenty of push while paddling, with staggered rails at the back that add even more volume. The deck is built with a double concave along the entire length of the board, which becomes more pronounced from the center towards the tail.
