This surfboard is based on the California surfing style, it embodies Rob’s extensive experience and passion for surfing small waves in California.
This board is slightly wider and thicker than your standard boardshort, providing stability and style while the squash tail provides plenty of control and grip in stronger waves.
The volume distribution helps produce high speed in knee-high to head-high waves.
The surfboard comes with a set of thruster fins, which also allows for a twin fin configuration, depending on your wishes.
Recommended set-up Machado 2 + 1 Fin Set, allows for the best experience.
This set-up was specifically designed for this model to allow for sharp turns with maximum control.

This board has Rob Machado’s most versatile hybrid shape, designed to produce high speed in light waves, and help maintain control in strong waves.
The Machado is suitable for knee-high waves, up to waves above head height.
This board gives confidence in all conditions, its width allows for play in light waves.
The avocado-inspired outline makes wave entry easier, with more volume in a shorter outline.
Characteristics
The Machadokdo is short and wide like Rob’s favorite fruit, with a volume distribution that produces fast and easy paddling.
The double concave allows for smooth performance on the wave, and VEE between the blades.
This board allows for smooth and easy rail-to-rail transitions relative to its wide shape.
Rob took care to distribute the volume from the nose to the tip to ensure that the board remains strong in the chop while still being able to generate high speed on flatter sections.
The board is built with helium technology, allowing you to perform freely but with maximum control at the same time.
