The Too Fish model is an evolution of Rob’s popular Go Fish model from 2017, updated with the lessons he learned from Seaside.
The Too Fish model is built with Firewire Surfboards’ helium technology, which provides a lightweight surfboard response.
With significant durability improvements compared to other surfboard construction methods.
The surfboard is coated with advanced industrial materials on the top and bottom of the surfboard.
In addition, the rails are made of paulownia wood and bamboo, which provides control and flexibility in turns.
Rob says about Too Fish:
“This board is my favorite in small, weak waves because of how thick and buoyant it is in the front two-thirds, but this shape is also thin in the tail which allows for grip in strong waves. I’ve surfed the Too Fish in all sorts of conditions, from overhead waves on the North Shore to perfect days at my home reef, and even the weakest and messiest waves at the break in front of my house. It’s my go-to board for all sea conditions.”

The board is fun and flows in small, weak waves. Recommended for waves 30 cm to 1.5 meters high, and suitable for weak/flat to average conditions.
Characteristics
This board is a classic fish, with a modern design and modern performance. The board has a single concave up to the chest area with the widest point located slightly above the center. The shape gives a lot of lift in the chest but becomes very narrow in the tail area to allow for grip in stronger waves.
