Meet the most performing surfboard Rob Machado has ever created.
This shape still retains the hybrid DNA that Rob is most associated with, it is the highest performance shortboard model he has created to date.
The Groove’s rocker and tread strongly emphasize performance surfing – coming out hard from the bottom straight into the lip.
Rob put in more rocker than his usual shapes: a tail rocker that gets you deep in the pocket, and a high nose rocker that allows you to land straight off the lip without getting stuck with the nose.

This model was designed for waves with some power – waist-high to head-high.
It works well even in weak waves, but it’s not a grobler.
